**Guests use ALL amenities at their own risk** ** Must be 21 years old or over to book ** - OCCUPANCY - Maximum number of guests (day or night) is 8. (All ages count towards the guest count). Occupancy is strictly enforced by both us, and the county. Any guest found to be exceeding the max number of occupants allowed will forfeit their security deposit and asked to vacate the premises, without refund for remaining stay. Any fines received from the county will be the responsibility of the guests to reimburse within 48 hours of receipt. - SLEEPING - The home comfortably sleeps up to 8 guests: Bedroom 1: California King bed Bedroom 2: Queen bed Bedroom 3: Queen bed Additional sleeping: Two twin rollaway beds **Twin roll away beds must be requested ahead of check in as they are locked up and will need to be placed out for guests prior to arrival ** - FAMILY FRIENDLY AMENITIES - Maxi-Cosi Pack n Play + High Chair + Children Dinnerware **These items must be requested ahead of check in as they are locked up and will need to be placed out for guests prior to arrival ** - PARKING - Only allowed on property driveway (max 4 cars). There is NO on-street parking available. Garage not accessible for parking. No vehicles allowed beyond designated driveway (DO NOT DRIVE PAST THE PROPERTY). - COMMERCIAL FILM - Only allowed with permit and prior consent. Location fee does apply. Please reach out BEFORE booking. - EVENTS - Only allowed with prior consent. Location fee will apply, and guests will need to obtain an event permit with the County of San Bernardino as well as supply Event Insurance. - QUIET HOURS - From 10pm-7am residents are asked to refrain from any loud noise outside or emanating from the home. This includes talking loudly, playing music outside or inside with the windows open. Any fines received from the county will be the responsibility of the guests to reimburse. Complaints from neighbors, or any police activity will result in guests being asked to leave without refund. - JACUZZI/POOL - You are using this at your own risk. No excessive drinking or drug usage while utilizing these amenities. You must rinse off beforehand. There is no fence around the pool/jacuzzi, children must be supervised at all times when outdoors. No Exceptions. NO GLASS ALLOWED IN OR AROUND THE POOL/SPA. IF BROKEN GLASS IS FOUND, YOU WILL BE CHARGED TO DRAIN/REFILL. ** serviced every Monday and Thursday ** - POOL HEATING - (We require at least 24 hours notice before arrival): · June- September $150/night (all nights required) · October-May $200/night (all nights required) We turn the heater on to 81 degrees for pool heating. Ambient temperature can effect pool temperature (there is no pool cover so cool temperatures, rain or snow can make it so the temperature does not get to 81 degrees). Generally the pool heats well during the day when the sun is out, but drops at night while the temperatures are much lower. ** Because of the size of the pool & no pool cover, it is typical for the pool temperature to not reach over 80 degrees in the cooler months (October-May) ** - JACUZZI HEATING - This is an above ground hot tub that is always set to 102 degrees. Guests can use the control panel to change temperature, lights and jets. - PETS - No pets allowed at the property. Fee of $500 if you violate this policy. - HVAC - We have central Ac/Heating in the home (living areas and bedrooms). Thermostat is located in the hallway between all room entrances. The garage game room has a separate Mini-Split that has cooling/heating. - SECURITY CAMERAS - We have 4 cameras on the property. 1 at front gate on the keypad, 1 ring doorbell & 2 more front of garage facing front of property. - NOISE MONITORS - We have noise decibel monitors that do not record video or voices. They do, however, measure the noise levels and send us an alert if guests are too loud. - CRITTERS - We have monthly pest control, but the remoteness of the home means you are in their habitat. Bugs, rodents, snakes etc. are common in the desert. Please make sure to keep all doors and windows shut and close them immediately after entering to ensure you aren't letting flies or other critters inside. Please keep an eye on children when outside as there is the possibility of snakes. The Desert Shadow has a bounty of birds, roadrunners, chipmunks and squirrels who live on the property. Feel free to feed them with food provided. Bird feeder is located in front yard. - SMOKING - NO Smoking or vaping inside the house or game room. Smoking must be at least 30 ft away from house. Any damage to furniture caused by cigarettes, cigars, matches/lighters will result a charge for replacement fee. - PLUMBING - Do not put any feminine products, birth control methods, dental floss, baby wipes, paper towels, or anything besides toilet paper in the toilet. The toilets are water-saving models and don't have a strong flush - limiting the amount of toilet paper used will help prevent a clog. The Rental Property is also on a septic tank system instead of city sewage, which are prone to clogging. - GAME ROOM - NO food or drinks near or on the pool table in the game room. A fee will be charged to replace the damaged felt top. - STARGAZING TENT - This will only be up from October through May. Not during summer months. - EARLY CHECK IN - We typically run at high occupancy, so if we have another guest checking out the morning of your stay or maintenance scheduled, we cannot offer early check in. Because of this, we cannot guarantee early check in until after 8pm the night before check in. Please reach out then if you'd like early check in. If available, we can do an early check in for a fee of $50/hr. - INDOOR FIREPLACE - Firewood and starter pack provided. Firewood is located on back patio. Do NOT use lighter fluid. Hearth can become dirty from ash. Please do not sit on hearth. - BROKEN ITEMS - We understand accidents happen. If anything happens please let us know immediately.
